Autumn is my favorite season, and I was inspired to draw this piece by the view of the park right outside my past apartment in Brooklyn. I loved to watch the beautifully-colored leaves gently floating down!
Eagle-eyed viewers will find some tiny handwritten text buried in the trunk of a tree: "After the leaves fall you can jump in the piles." (One of my favorite childhood pastimes.)
This lovely print would look just as sweet in a nursery as it would in a living room. :)
